You can ‘rate’ each development individually, by giving it between one and five stars. The building with the most stars by the time voting closes on 25 April will win.

Alternatively, send your ratings to Rochdale Borough Design Awards, Andrew Eadie, Rochdale Borough Council, Strategic Planning, Number One Riverside, Smith Street, Rochdale OL16 1XU

Voting is open until 5pm on 25 April 2016 and the winner will be announced at a special ceremony in early May.

The council’s Rochdale Borough Design Awards celebrate the best in new development design, focusing on the relationship between good design and building successful communities.

Council Leader, Richard Farnell said: “The design awards are part of the council’s commitment to recognising design excellence in new buildings and regeneration schemes, and since 2009 we have highlighted the very best. Here we have some great examples of designs that have enhanced their surroundings.

"It is very positive to see how these awards are growing and their success illustrates just how much regeneration and improvement is taking place.

"These ten nominations are a very strong shortlist … good luck to them all.”

There will be two awards - the Rochdale Borough Design Award and this People’s Design Award, decided by a public vote.
