Twenty year 8 students from Falinge Park High School have been selected to take part in a Digital Designer in Residence project.
The students are working with the artist, Michelle Stephens, to produce a collaborative piece of artwork based on the theme of Distinctiveness.
The final product is to be displayed in a prominent position within school.
On Wednesday 23 March, the students took part in a visit to The Manchester School of Art at Manchester Metropolitan University.
The students were taken on a guided tour of the university’s facilities and studios spaces and looked at some of the artwork produced by the University students. They then worked at the University, putting the finishing touches to their collaborative piece of artwork.
The students developed their knowledge and skills of working with different computer software, including Photoshop and coding packages.
