The Mayor and Mayoress, Surinder and Cecile Biant, organised a 'bake off' at Rochdale Town Hall.
Participants from across the borough submitted their cakes and pastries as part of the event, aimed at raising money for the Mayor’s charities.
Charity committee member Wendy Powers said: We had a fantastic response from people who came to support us, and the cakes were incredible. It is for a good cause and we were really happy with the turnout.£300 was made in the event."
The event raised £300.
