Wednesday 23 March

Officers attempted to stop the driver of a Ford Focus car on Spotland Road at 12.35am on Monday after he was seen driving erratically. The suspected drink driver assaulted a police officer and crashed into a parked car during a high speed police chase.

A 12-year-old schoolgirl was hospitalised after being hit by a motorbike in Heywood on Wednesday (23 March).

Tuesday 22 March

Two juveniles were arrested in Heywood on suspicion of attempted burglary

A 27-year-old male was charged for possessing a controlled drug and resisting a constable in the execution of their duty.

A 65-year-old male was charged on suspicion of drink driving after providing a positive breath sample.

Monday 21 March

David Mulcahy (09/01/1976), from Rochdale, was charged with drink driving, disqualified driving and no insurance. He was conveyed to Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court.

Kyle O’Reilly (14/04/1995), from Rochdale, was charged with breach of bail and conveyed to Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court.

Darren Hussain (28/10/1988), from Rochdale, was charged with harassment and bailed with conditions to appear at Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court 8 April.

Christopher Marshall (28/11/1994), from Rochdale, was charged with drug driving and bailed to appear at Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court 8 April.

Alistair Watson (12/10/1974), from Rochdale, was charged with drink driving and bailed to appear at Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court 15 April.
