Twenty things to do in Rochdale this Easter

There is plenty to do around the borough this Easter weekend and here are twenty of them including the the Easter Eggstravaganza at Spotland Stadium...

Good Friday (25 March)

  • The Easter Bunny will be visiting Spotland Stadium for an Easter Eggstravaganza: Dale v Southend - kick off 3.00pm.
  • The Regal Moon re-opens after months of refurbishment.
  • Heywood Bowling Club has various exciting things in store including lots of kids activities -  12.00pm to 8.00pm.
  • Xplorer: Easter Special family friendly navigation challenge, Hollingworth Lake Activitiy Centre - 11.00am.

Easter Saturday (26 March)

  • Easter Kids Club at The Wheatsheaf Shopping Centre - 11.00am to 3.30pm.
  • Easter Eggstravaganza and Punch & Judy, Middleton Gardens - 10.00am to 2.00pm. 
  • Easter Eggstravaganza, St Peter's Church, Newbold - 2.00pm.
  • Breakfast & Walk, Open Door Church, Shawclough - 9.30am. 
  • TH96 Charity Event in Memory of Tommy Hardman, Rochdale Cricket Club - 9.30am.

Easter Sunday (27 March)

  • Classic Bike Rally, East Lancashire Railway.
  • Write Out Loud Open Mic Event Hosted by Shirley-Anne Kennedy and Eileen Earnshaw, Ring O' Bells, Middleton - 7.00pm.
  • Family Fun Fishing Event, Rochdale Canal, Rear of Hopwood Arms - 10.00am to 3.00pm.
  • Littleborough Lions Car Boot Sale, Railway Street, Littleborough - 8.00am - 12.00pm.

Easter Monday (28 March)

  • Easter Bonnet Day, East Lancashire Railway.
  • Children’s Easter Egg Hunt at Crimble Hall, Bamford - 11.30am.
  • Middleton Pace Egg Plays, The Dusty Miller - 12.00pm.
  • Gordon Rigg Easter Activities.

Plus

  • Hollingworth Lake Easter Fun Fair, Thursday 24 March - Sunday 3 April. All the fun of the fair comes to Hollingworth Lake for the annual Easter Fun Fair.
  • Go4it Easter Holiday Activities, Tuesday 29 March 2016 - Friday 8 April. A variety of sport, physical activity, arts and cultural activities over the school holidays for children five years plus.
  • Beauty and the Beast Easter Panto Spectacular at the Gracie Fields Theatre, 16 April - 3.00pm and 7.00pm.
