Armed robbery at Tesco Express

Staff were held up by a thug with a weapon, believed to be a bladed article, at Tesco Express on Edenfield Road on Monday evening.
Cash was taken from the till but no one was hurt in the incident.
Officers attended the supermarket shortly before 6.00pm.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police confirmed that no arrests have been made and that there is an appeal for anyone with information to come forward.
Anyone with information should phone police on 101 or call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
