Community funding opportunities

Date published: 17 March 2016

RBH is launching a new programme of funding for its member and community groups.

Community led organisations are invited to submit funding applications for activities that have a direct impact on their neighbourhood.

All applications must be supported by one or more RBH tenant members.

The projects funded will have a focus on outcomes for the community that directly link to RBH priorities. These are:

  • Employment and skills
  • Support services, advice and financial inclusion
  • Digital inclusion
  • Health and wellbeing
  • Social inclusion
  • Families, children and young people
  • Improving green spaces
  • Mutuality across neighbourhoods

Examples of the projects RBH would like to support

Support into Employment/Digital Inclusion – these are projects that would support people to gain employment. Your project could look to support people to learn how to develop their digital skills to access job searches, help to prepare CVs or complete applications. Maybe your project would focus on confidence building or increasing people’s chances of a successful interview through guidance or providing the right clothes to wear for an interview.

Health and Wellbeing/Social Inclusion – these are projects that could encourage improvements to people’s health or that would help people to live more fulfilling lives. Your project could provide opportunities for people to become more active, learn new skills, overcome isolation or develop existing interests.
