Congratulations to our choir who came 1st in their category at Rochdale Music Festival. The children were fantastic and I am very proud of their achievements. Thanks, also goes to Mrs Astley our choir teacher.

Thank you to the PFA for their generous donation of these three fantastic willow tepees! They are a great asset to our outside learning space and the children love them! Thanks, also goes to all the parents who have supported the PFA in their fund raising activities.

Sports News

Congratulations to our Year 3 &4 football team who completed in a football tournament in Middleton.

The boys gave 100% effort and showed great team spirit to make it to the final. Unfortunately they lost in the final. We are very proud of their efforts. Our Year 5 &6 team have played two games recently.

A very professional and mature performance ended in an 8 – 0 victory against Castleton, “Man of the Match” was Sean Greaves. They also played against Sandbrook. Although they dominated from start to finish they couldn’t score and it ended 0 – 0.

We wish Year 5 and 6 Rugby Team all the best for the League Final Tournament at the Etihad Stadium on the 15 March.

Congratulations to this week’s certificate winners. Well done to each of them.
