Have an eggs-ellent Easter at Crimble Hall

Date published: 15 March 2016

Crimble Hall will be opening its much-loved Secret Garden this Easter weekend, which celebrates the beginning of its outdoor eating and drinking season.

The tranquil outdoor area opens annually on Easter Monday (28 March) and enables diners to enjoy a relaxed drink or a meal from Fenton’s Bar. With fairy lights twinkling away as dusk falls, this is always a really popular area in the warmer months.

For some eggs-ellent fun, there will be a children’s Easter Egg hunt on Easter Sunday at 11.30am. There will also be a prize for the most amazing Easter bonnet.

Sunday lunch is then served in the Conservatory Restaurant and Grill from midday. Booking is advisable for Easter weekend.

Rob Walker, group head chef of The Deckers Group, said: “We love Easter weekend, which means we open the Secret Garden for the summer. Our guests always enjoy sitting outdoors, either just for a drink or for a meal soaking up the sunshine (weather permitting!).

“Easter Sunday is always a busy time for our restaurants and we love to see families eating together, enjoying our freshly-prepared Sunday roast.”

Crimble Hall is set in the beautiful countryside, just outside Rochdale. The Conservatory Restaurant and Grill offers a wide range of lovingly-prepared classic dishes with fresh ingredients, including steaks and burgers.

Fenton’s Lounge is a relaxed bar with drinks and bar snacks, which guests can eat outside in the Secret Garden. The extensive bar menu includes starters, deli boards, salads, burgers, a grill section, as well as sandwiches and full meals.

Also based at Crimble Hall is the two AA rosette restaurant The Peacock Room, which provides decadent dining in a gorgeous art deco setting. This fine dining establishment has also achieved a Michelin Knife and Fork award.
