Roch Valley Radio 48 Hour Non-Stop broadcast
Roch Valley Radio is hosting a 48 hour non-stop broadcast to raise vital funds to keep the Hospital and Community Radio station on-air.
The station is a registered charity which is funded by solely by charitable donations and the fundraising volunteers do either through events such as the 48 hour broadcast or roadshows at local community events.
On Saturday 26 March from 12pm through to Monday 28 March at 12pm volunteers will present non-stop shows covering numerous genres of music, interactive quizzes, debates and more.
David Murphy, chairman, said: "Our volunteers are excited and already talking about how they can make the broadcast interesting for the hospital patients and the community."
Patients in Fairfield General Hospital can listen free via their bedside unit and if you're not in hospital you can download the Roch Valley Radio mobile app on (Android and IPhone) which is free, tune in online via the website to listen or even watch the studio webcam.
