Yorkshire Bank, Rochdale Fundraising Team with two more cheques
Yorkshire Bank fundraisers have raised an additional £4,366.50 for Springhill which which tips their total fundraising over the £25k mark.
The close knit team raise money in a variety of ways for their community by putting on everything from comedy and curry nights, selling merchandise, calendars, diaries and cards, to raising money via our Springhill Crafts support group by selling their products.
The two cheques represent money raised at a quiz night held at the end of last year and by selling Springhill's own merchandise and Springhill Crafts goods.
The staff and volunteers at Springhill Hospice have been awarded the team at The Yorkshire Bank a Golden Leaf on the Springhill Hospice Tree of Life, an honour only granted to those in the community who ‘go that extra mile’ for Springhill.
Sarah Ford, Springhill’ s Income Services Manager said: “Thank you one and all for yet another amazing donation, one which tips your total fundraising over the £25k mark, definitely something to shout about.”
