The 7th A Rochdale cubs, scouts and leaders charity bucket collection
The 7th A Rochdale cubs, scouts and leaders held a Charity Bucket Collection at Asda Rochdale on Saturday 27 February and raised £300 that will help with repairs to the 7th A Scout Hut located at Spotland Bridge.
The parents and Leaders were there from 10.00am – 4.00pm with cubs and scouts and were overwhelmed by the generosity of the Rochdale community.
Scout leader, Mike Phillips said: "All the young people involved gained some valuable skills and really enjoyed meeting with the public and sharing what they do. We are all proud to be a part of the 7th A Scouts and it was lovely to see so many people interested.
"The 7th A would like to give a special thanks to Asda Rochdale and Ellenor McDonald Community Life Champion for allowing us to hold the collection."
