Brian Blanthorn: We finally get a chance to remember you

We finally get a chance to remember you
On this your first real anniversary
You were always different, yourself, unique
And you died the same way
So today, 29 February, is your day
Remembering you is easy
We do it every day
The glass you made reflects you
Striking, unique and different
It sparkles brightly every day
You were a special person
As we all know, you were yourself in every way
You left a glorious legacy behind you
We know that was important to you at the end
You were our dad, brother, husband, uncle, friend
You were frustrating, exasperating, funny, with a wicked sense of humour
We loved you, and always will
Pauline, Lynn, Jenny, Malcolm, Tara, Oliver, Claire and Martin
