Chloe Fleming en-route to a beautiful career

Date published: 24 February 2016

Chloe Fleming, from Rochdale, is a model student in more ways than one; she is featuring in Hopwood Hall College’s new prospectus and she is excelling in her studies, too.

She is on track to a successful career in beauty after getting top marks at college and landing herself a part-time job.

Chloe, 17, is currently studying for a Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy at Hopwood Hall College, which is equivalent to A-Levels. After already securing distinctions in all units last year, she is on track to get straight distinctions again.

Chloe, who went to Falinge Park School, before starting college, says: “I have been studying Beauty Therapy at Hopwood Hall College for 18 months now. I have passed my Level 2 with distinctions in all units and am soon to finish my Level 3, in which I also have distinctions in all units so far. During our course at Hopwood Hall College, we have gained salon experience in the College’s own Riverside Salon, making us stand out to employers and I have recently been given an amazing employment opportunity in a local health and beauty salon.”

Liz Fisher, Programme Manager for Hair and Beauty, describes Chloe as: “A conscientious and committed student, who always works hard to achieve high standards, whether in class, or working in our commercial salon, Riverside. She has developed high level technical and employability skills, which have resulted in her recent job offer.

"I am really pleased that Chloe is returning to college, in September 2016, to study on our new higher education qualification in Management and Specialist Beauty Therapy Techniques, as she the potential to go far in the industry.”
