Arts Award Expo 3 Showcase

Well done to all the Year 7 students for their hard work and impressive dedication on the recent Arts Award Expo 3 which took place on the 12 February in the heartspace.

Over thirty students exhibited their portfolios to families, friends and guests of school and there were drama and music performances from students across a range of years.

The feedback of parents and visitors was overwhelmingly positive and our students enjoyed being able to share their experiences about their creative work. Well done to everyone who was involved in the event and many thanks to the parents and families who came along to support our learners.

Oldham Coliseum ‘Gaming and Participatory Theatre’ Workshop

Many thanks to Oldham Coliseum who joined us this week for a special workshop based on gaming and participatory theatre for Year 8 students. The workshop featured a range of activities and the feedback from the session was highly positive.

The workshop is part of a sequence of sessions being run in conjunction between the school and the theatre this year. This offer is part of our current partnership status with the Oldham Coliseum Theatre. Well done to all the students involved in the session.
