Arrested man cleared of Jalal Uddin killing

The 31-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murdering Jalal Uddin, a local Qari, has been released without charge.
Greater Manchester Police said the man had been "eliminated" from its investigation.

Jalal Uddin died after being found with a head injury on a children’s playground near South Street, Wardleworth.
GMP Major Incident Team is continuing to investigate.
Anyone with information is asked to contact officers at Rochdale police station on 101, or alternatively you can pass information to the police in confidence by calling Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
