National Lottery steps up hunt for the Millionaire Raffle winner

Date published: 20 February 2016

The National Lottery has stepped up the hunt for the Millionaire Raffle winner from the Lotto draw on 5 December, 2015 – and at the same time the search continues to find the ticket-holder who won £349,463.30 in the EuroMillions draw on 18 December, 2015.

The lucky Rochdale millionaire is from the Lotto draw on 5 December, 2015.

For every Lotto line played, players automatically receive a Lotto Millionaire Raffle code printed on their ticket. The winning code on 5 December 2015, was NAVY 2780 9650 and the lucky ticket holder has until 2 June 2016, to come forward and claim their prize.

Another ticket bought in the borough matched the five main numbers and one Lucky Star number in the EuroMillions draw on 18 December 2015. The winning EuroMillions numbers on that date were 6, 22, 26, 29, 48 and the Lucky Star numbers were 5 and 6. The lucky ticket holder has until 15 June, 2016  to claim their prize

If no-one comes forward with the winning tickets before the prize claim deadline, then the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.

A National Lottery spokesperson said: “We’re eager to find the mystery ticket-holders and unite them with their winnings – these amazing prizes could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life. We’re urging everyone who bought tickets in this area to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding.

“Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa – two people out there could literally be sitting on a fortune! We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winners come forward to claim their winnings.”

With all National Lottery draws, players have 180 days from the day of the draw to claim their prize if they have the winning ticket. Anyone who has any queries or who believes they have the winning ticket for any of the National Lottery draws within the 180-day deadline should call the National Lottery Line on 0844 338 7551 or email help@national-lottery.co.uk
