Police were called to A58, Halifax Road, Blackstone Edge, this morning (Thursday 18 February) after a car overturned and fell into an embankment.

Officers attended the A58 westbound, close to the White House pub, at 6.30am to find a Vauxhall Astra on its side. The 36 year old male driver was not trapped or injured and was not in need of medical care.
