St Gabriel’s village panto 'Puss in Boots'

Date published: 17 February 2016

St Gabriel’s ADMS Castleton’s annual village pantomime this year is 'Puss in Boots'.

What is extra special is that it gives the opportunity for talented young members of the school to take on the lead role of 'Puss' - Joshua Ingham and Mia Goulden will be sharing this honour performing on alternative nights of the show.

For Joshua, aged 8, and Mia, aged 10, it will be their first ever speaking roles and producer and writer Billy Sheerin said: “They know every line in the script which is remarkable for their ages.”

The full cast of this year's pantomime has seventeen principals and over forty children in three choruses of different age groups.

Billy said: “It is forty years ago that pantomimes were first produced in the school hall and this marks a special milestone with several children in the pantomime following on like their parents did many years ago."

The show runs from Wednesday 17 February for four nights starting at 7.15pm plus a Saturday matinee at 2.15pm. Tickets are available from the school or cast members or by ringing Tommy on 01706 353184.
