Rochdale Round Table has donated £1,000 to Food Bank to help following tonnes of food the Round Table donated before Christmas was ruined in the flood on Boxing Day.
Not only had a lot of the food gone to waste but the Food Bank premises sustained a lot of damage ,which needed to be put right and much assistance was required to undertake the cleaning up process.
Round Table decided some of the cash funds they raised during their Santa collections would be of great assistance to the Food Bank to help them in their hour of need, and donated the £1,000 to help them get back on their feet.
