Hamer Community Primary School

Date published: 15 February 2016

On Wednesday 10 February, Jo Aspinall our Dance Consultant was in school developing contemporary dance performances linked with the children’s learning topics. As ever, the day was fun and exciting as the children learnt dance technique and composition with a specialist in the field.

Thank you to all families of Year 6 children for your support in getting them in early in the mornings for extra SAT’s preparation booster classes. Thank you to the children for their dedication to achieving the best results possible.

Mr Moore the Head went to Robinwood, on Thursday 11 February to visit our Year 5 children. We are very pleased to say that one of the group leaders complimented Mr Moore on our children’s behaviour, support for one another and their enthusiasm.  Well done Year 5.

Thank you to those parents who again reported the flooding in the subway. Please continue to support us by going in to main reception to sign the petition. It will only take a couple of minutes but it will hopefully go a long way to help with this issue affecting the health and safety of our community.

Have a wonderful family time together over the short break. School re-opens on Monday 22 February and we look forward to seeing you all bright and early and ready for learning.
