Friday 15 January

David Hazell, of Middleton, charged with driving with excess alcohol. He has been bailed to attend court in the coming weeks.

A male, from Middleton, has been arrested on suspicion of assault following a domestic disturbance.

Saturday 16 January


Gary Moss, of Middleton, has been charged with four domestic related assaults and was kept in custody until appearing in court on Monday.

Two males were arrested on Saturday night/Sunday morning on suspicion of aggravated burglary in Heywood. CID officers are currently continuing the investigation.

Neil Moore, of Heywood, has been charged with assault following a domestic related incident last night. He was remanded.

Monday 18 January

Police officers asked for parents to stop their children throwing snowballs, as over 50 calls came in on Monday (18 January) for Anti-Social Behaviour.

Middleton man Patrick Morgan was arrested, charged and remanded to court for possessing a bladed article following a disturbance on Sunday night.

George Deakin, of Heywood, has been charged with aggravated burglary that occurred Friday evening (15 January). He was refused bail.

DC Wallace and PCSOs gave food, donated by Tesco & M&S, to the homeless in Rochdale.

Wednesday 20 January

Officers assisted the RSPCA with the seizing of a neglected horse - now being treated.
