Trial of Josphat Mutekedza to be re-scheduled due to judge falling ill
Date published: 19 January 2016
The murder trial of Josphat Mutekedza is set to be re-scheduled after the jury had to be discarded due to the judge falling ill.
Mutekedza, 36, of no fixed address, has pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of Miriam Nyazema of Shawclough, Rochdale, but denies murder.
The trial had started at Bolton Crown Court last week, but now a new date will be set later this week with another jury set to be sworn in.
