Councillor Ian Duckworth set for Deputy Mayor

Conservative Councillor Ian Duckworth is set to become the borough's Deputy Mayor from May.
If his nomination is approved at a meeting of Rochdale Council on Wednesday (20 January), he will then go on to be the Mayor of Rochdale for 2017.
Councillor Duckworth has represented Bamford since 2010.
