Simon Danczuk comments on end to Lord Janner criminal proceedings

Rochdale MP Simon Danczuk has responded to the news that criminal proceedings against Lord Janner have ended.
Mr Danczuk used Parliamentary Privilege during a House of Commons debate on Tuesday 23 June 2015 to outline some of the allegations that had been made against Lord Janner.
Reacting to the news, Mr Danczuk said: “This is sad on a number of levels. We see justice move so quickly for some people but when it comes to Lord Janner and his alleged victims it has moved incredibly slowly, to the point that we have seen a failure to prosecute.
“It is a very sad day for the alleged victims who have been denied the chance to tell their story.
“It is now for the Goddard Inquiry to take up the case and ensure that the victims are given a voice.”
