Police Constable Simon Green denies drink driving charge

Police Constable Simon Green, from Bamford, pleaded not guilty to a drink driving charge when he appeared before Bury and Rochdale Magistrates Court on Thursday (14 January). He also denied a second charge of driving without due care and attention.
Police attended an incident in the early hours of 23 November 2015 in the Norden area of Rochdale in which a car was badly damaged, but no other information has been released.
PC Green will appear back before the court for a trial on 14 April.
