Hollingworth Academy extends gratitude to Road Safety Team
Hollingworth Academy reached the end of a long association with the Road Safety Team this week due to planned cuts to budgets recently delivered by Rochdale Borough Council.
After ten years of Road Safety Presentations to thousands of pupils, Stuart Howarth and David Godley delivered their presentations for the final time.
A spokesperson for the Academy said: "We as a school owe an enormous debt of gratitude to Stuart and his team, who have worked tirelessly to raise awareness of Road Safety and staying safe to our children and young adults.
"The dedication and commitment to their role is unparalleled and irreplaceable.
"They will leave an indelible mark in the thoughts and minds of our pupils for many years to come.
"It is therefore with regret that we wish them a fond farewell and wish them well in the future."
