Springhill Hospice

If you have any boxes of chocolates and Christmas treats and you don’t want them tempting you to break your New Year diet, then you can help Springhill Hospice by donating any unwanted treats or gifts as part of the Christmas Fundraising Appeal.

Donations can be dropped off at one of the Hospice charity shops, at the Hospice reception or at the Springhill Tea Room and Gift Shop.

The Charity shops are located at:

Andrew Nutter and his team at Nutters restaurant raised £500 after they made a gingerbread creation over the festive period.

Rob Kivington, along with his friends Helen and Stuart, took part in the Istanbul Marathon. This was no ordinary 26 miles as the race started on one side of the Bosporus in Asia and finished on the other side of the river in Europe. This meant two continents in one day. Rob, Helen and Stuart battled soaring temperatures and raised £600 for the Hospice.

Rochdale’s Strictly event on Saturday 20 February at Rochdale Town Hall will be raising money for the Hospice as part of the Mayors Charity appeal.

Springhill Hospice Spring Fair

The annual Spring Fair will take place at the Hospice on Sunday 13 March. You can enjoy a great day out, which will include over 30 stall including gifts, home bake, crafts, raffles and tombolas. Entry to the event is free and there really is something for everyone.
