Age UK Rochdale’s premises at 12 South Parade in Rochdale town centre remain closed until further notice due to severe flooding.

A spokesperson said: "Age UK Rochdale is working as hard as it can to get the office at South Parade back up and running again as soon as possible.

"In the meantime the team is based at the Rochdale Borough Council offices, located at Number One Riverside, Smith Street OL16 1XU (telephone 01706 712515) and is able to offer general information and advice, benefit advice and outreach services at present. We apologise for any inconvenience caused to our customers and thank you for your patience during these exceptional circumstances.

"Age UK customers who wish to renew their insurance can do so over the phone by calling Ageas Direct on 0345 603 0512. Those who prefer to renew their insurance in person can do so at the Age UK Oldham office, which is situated at 2 Lord Street, Oldham OL1 3EY or, alternatively, at Age UK Tameside, located at Unit 3 Warrington Street, Ashton under Lyne, Lancashire OL6 6AS."
