Johh Whyman - Man of Rochdale 2013
Former Man of Rochdale, John Whyman, has been awarded an MBE in the New Year’s Honours List.
Mr Whyman has been given the award for his services to the sick and terminally ill through art therapy.
Though retired, he volunteers his time with Springhill Hospice, Dr Kershaw’s Hospice and Birch Hill teaching people how to paint using watercolours.
