Fundraising page set up for Littleborough flood victims
Date published: 29 December 2015
A fundraising page is aiming to raise £2,500 to help those in Littleborough who have been affected by the flooding.
Set up by resident Stephen Ward, the money raised will be used to help those who have suffered damage to their homes.
Stephen said: “While the clean-up begins and people are out making sure that everyone is warm and fed, I thought it would be good to start a page to try and raise money to help those in need.”
Widespread flooding was seen across Littleborough on Saturday (26 December) following heavy rain. Homes had to be evacuated with many of the main roads closed or declared impassable.
