Council to make emergency payments to households affected by flooding

The Leader of Rochdale Council, Councillor Richard Farnell, has asked the Council to make an emergency payment of £500 to households affected by flooding.
Councillor Farnell says there will also be more help to follow.
The Council is continuing to clear-up after the floods.
