Members of Rochdale Hockey Club raised £170 at a mixed game with players from their men’s and women’s teams. Over the five years that the club has been fundraising for the Hospice, they have raised over £900.

Toni Fraternale and staff at Toni’s & Co, on Milnrow Road, have been donating to and buying tickets for a Christmas bumper hamper in aid of the Hospice.

Sarah Grindrod of Salt Separation Services recently gave up alcohol for three months in aid of Springhill Hospice. Described as a “party girl” Sarah agreed to undertake the challenge to the surprise of her colleagues at work. Sarah raised £1,000 for the Hospice, with sponsorship still rolling in.

PDS UK Door and Window in Littleborough has raised £1,871.55 for the Hospice through their festive fundraising.

The Springhill Hospice Quiz has been selling well and has already raised over £500. Quizzes can be bought from the Hospice reception or any of the seven charity shops for £1. You have until February to finish the quiz.

Rochdale Hornets will once again be supporting Go Green Day in 2016. The event is set to take place on Friday 13 May.
