Hollingworth Academy contribute to Operation Christmas Child Shoebox appeal
Hollingworth Academy have contributed to Operation Christmas Child Shoebox appeal and have
managed to send 102 completed shoeboxes to deprived countries such as Liberia.
This is a fantastic way to spread the Christmas spirit to those who would not have had anything to celebrate otherwise.
An extra well done is needed for all pupils who volunteered their time to help at the Charity Club.
It is due to these pupils that the Operation Christmas Child was such a success.
The Charity Club has been running since the start of this school year by Miss Edwards and will be continuing to look for ways to contribute to both local and national charities.
