Ashworth View Nursery and Pre School in Norden will be holding a number of family fun events on the first Saturday of every month for the next five months.

The events will all be in aid of local charity The Gem Appeal with the opportunity for parents looking for nursery places or party venues to take a look at the facilities.

Ashworth View Nursery is nestled in a beautiful rural setting between Norden Village and Turn Village on Edenfield Road, Norden.

The nursery is registered to take 75 children from the age of 0 to 8 years old and currently has three areas for children.

The Little Lambs is for babies aged 0-2 years. The Busy Bee’s is for toddlers aged from 2-3 years old and the Wise Owls is for children aged 3 and above.

Events the nursery will be holding over the upcoming months include:

• 5 April – Easter Egg Hunt – 10am-12pm with Ranger Rob, Easter Egg Hunt and Easter cakes. 
• 3 May - Pirate and Princess Party – 10am-12pm with party games. 
• 7 June – Balloon modelling, street dancing and cake decorating from 10am. 
• 5 July – Baby ballet and arts and crafts from 10am. 
• 2 August – Children’s disco – 10am-12pm – face painting and circus tricks.

All events are free of charge to those who attend but donations to The Gem Appeal would be gratefully received. During the events, children will also have access to the nursery's spectacular outdoor area which includes a race track, tree houses, a slide and a 60ft pirate ship.

There will also be a chance to enter a free raffle at each event with the opportunity to win a hamper from the Norden Arms Deli.

Stalls from local businesses will also be in attendance at the events.

The nursery is also branching out and is hoping to use their beautifully renovated building to host children’s parties. The nursery can provide your son or daughter with the perfect party location in which staff can tailor make the party to suit your child’s needs and your budget.
