Invitation to Littleborough Neighbourhood Forum AGM

Date published: 05 December 2013

Following the recent approval of the Neighbourhood Forum for Littleborough and its constitution on the 5 November by the Pennines Township Committee we are now putting out invitations to as many people and groups as possible to attend our first Annual General Meeting.

This is to be held at 7.00 pm on Tuesday, 10 December 2013 at the Coach House, Lodge Street, Littleborough.

The meeting will be straightforward in that it will receive an up-to-date account of what has been achieved to date, will formally approve the constitution and most importantly will elect both committee members (20 in total) and officers (five of the committee) for the coming year. It will be followed by the normal committee meetings of Littleborough Civic Trust and the Littleborough Neighbourhood Forum.

We are inviting any members of groups who were interested in becoming a member of the Forum to apply via myself. We now have 31 people on the Forum but would like to have more, particularly those who have skills and knowledge which could be useful to the Forum.

Additionally we are able to offer groups the chance to propose someone who would then represent that group. It should be understood that such a person would only have one vote on matters which arose during the working of the Forum.

If you require any other information please contact me immediately.
