Rochdale Training has secured Government funding to support employers to develop their workforce in 2021
Rochdale Training is reaching out to employers across the Rochdale Borough, Greater Manchester, and the North West to understand what skills and training support they can offer in these difficult times.
The training provider, based on Fishwick Street, Rochdale, has recently secured substantial Government funding to support employers to develop the workforce throughout 2021.
Known as the Skills and Training Workforce Support Fund, this funding will allow Rochdale Training to meet the training needs of employers directly affected by Covid-19.
Mark Whittaker from Rochdale Training said: “To enable Rochdale Training to help you, we need your help to provide information regarding the skills and training support your organisation needs. Please take 5 minutes to complete our short survey by no later than 15 February.
“In return, we will allocate employers a training budget of up to £27,000 for each eligible employee or new employee/apprentice.“

Mark continued: “We offer a wide range of training and business support for all levels of staff up to director level, including apprenticeships and shorter NVQs to accommodate your time, commitment, and business needs.
“Upon completion of the survey, one of employer engagement team will be contact within 24 hours.
“We respect your confidentiality.”
Rochdale Training was formed as a charity in 1966 by the heads of leading local manufacturing employers, primarily to manage and support the training of apprentices. Over the years, the local facility has grown considerably and now provides customised training to individual companies throughout the North West offering a continuously improving range of lifelong learning, development, and business support services to ensure businesses remain competitive, grow jobs and ensure workers have the opportunities to obtain skills that will help them become or remain self-sufficient.
