Bury College University Centre Graduation Ceremony 2018
The class of 2018 took to the stage to mark their exceptional achievements as Bury College University Centre celebrated the fantastic success of graduates.
Proud staff, tutors, families, friends and supporters celebrated the success of the graduates as they now look forward to the next stage of their careers.
Students from across Bury College University Centre were receiving certificates in FdA Health Care, FdSc Sports Science and Coaching, HND Beauty Management, FdSc Design in Media Make-up, Certificate in Education 14+, Professional Graduate in Education 14+, BA (Hons) Professional Development in Teaching Assistants (Top up) and BA (Hons) Professional Development in Early Years (Top up), HNC Computing and Systems Development, HNC Engineering and HND Hairdressing Management, BA (Hons) Beauty Management Top Up, BA (Hons) Hairdressing Management Top Up, Working with Children and Families BA (Hons), Teaching Assistants FdA, International Tourism Management BSc, Public Services HND.
Celebrating achieving a First Class Honours Degree in BA Hons Beauty Management Top Up was 22-year-old Melissa Wrigley.
Melissa, who currently manages a day spa, said: “I am ecstatic to secure a First Class Honours degree and it means the world to me to be graduating today.”
Anas Gaddafi, 30-years-old from Manchester, completed the Professional Graduate Certificate in Education 14+ and would like to now progress onto a career in teaching.
Anas, who graduated with a Distinction, said: “The tutors at Bury College University Centre have been very helpful. I am so happy with my result and very proud to be graduating.”
Bury College University Centre has recently received the TEF Silver award, an accolade which acknowledges and celebrates outstanding teaching practices. Working in partnership with the University of Bolton, University of Cumbria and Pearson, students benefit from a personal approach from enthusiastic tutors as well as high quality career focused courses.
