Swansway Honda goes on Christmas Patrol
Swansway Honda Rochdale, is repeating its Santa Patrol Christmas present giveaway which was so well received last year.
Swansway Group director, David Smyth, explained: “Last year was our first Swansway Santa Patrol, we gave £10,000 of Christmas presents to disadvantaged children in the areas where we operate and as a Dad myself, I have to confess it was something of an eye-opener.
“There are a lot of kids out there, for whom Christmas isn’t the magical time it should be; sadly more than any of us would imagine and as a family business if we can help make Christmas a little more special for these children, then we will. The Swansway Santa Patrol is our way of giving something back to the local communities where we trade.
"Smyths Toys, no relation, are supporting us again this year, by adding 10 per cent extra to our £10,000 budget.
“If you know of any local children’s groups that you think would benefit, then please email us and nominate them. Together we can help make Christmas a little more magical for hundreds of children in our local area."
