GJD Manufacturing and NBM Distribution announce new strategic partnership

Date published: 27 January 2015

Heywood based GJD Manufacturing has announced a new partnership with NBM Distribution, who are specialists in the computer network market. The newly formed strategic partnership is said to be "perfect" for both companies, owing to the fact that security products are becoming significantly more integrated with IT and IT infrastructure.

Greg Stuttle, Business Development Manager at GJD Manufacturing, commented on the new partnership: “This new partnershipis expected to accelerate and strengthen sales of our security products in the IT market."

NBM Distribution have been supplying the structured cabling market for 26 years and the company’s experience will be invaluable in introducing GJD's products to their customer base. In 2014 NBM was recognised for its skillset of identifying opportunities for security products, by achieving the MOBOTIX Global Newcomer of the Year award.

Danny Kindell, Managing Director at NBM Distribution, said: “We are delighted to welcome GJD on board. Their products are an excellent addition to our already comprehensive IP electronic security portfolio. This significant addition to our product portfolio gives our customer base yet another great reason to source their complete security solution from NBM.”

GJD already manufacture power over Ethernet (POE) models of the company’s white light and infrared LED illuminators, which provide high performance LED illumination, enabling excellent night vision images.

GJD is currently working on adding robust and durable systems, including IP addressable movement detectors and Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems (PIDS).

Key benefits of integrating security systems with IT include significant cost savings, consistency, even in the event of a power cut, flexibility and durability.
