Zen Internet has been awarded Which? Best Broadband Provider 2008 at the annual Which? Awards Ceremony held at the British Museum, London.
Unlike some other awards, it is not possible to put a company forward for this accolade. This reflects Which?’s commitment to completely unbiased product endorsement.
The Which? Awards have become an annual celebration of the best products and services in the UK. This year’s 12 award categories reflected the breadth of Which?’s research, ranging from domestic appliances and financial products, to cars and broadband providers. Other winners included John Lewis, Play.com, Mazda and Panasonic.
On awarding Zen Internet Which? Best Broadband Provider a spokesperson said: "Our broadband award winner makes the world of broadband as hassle free as possible."
"It scored top marks among Which? members for connection speed, customer service, online and telephone support and was the only ISP on test to get top marks for reliability of connection."
"We are delighted to have won this prestigious award as Which? is the largest consumer body in the UK and is relied upon by many consumers for its truly independent product recommendations," said Richard Tang, Managing Director, Zen Internet
'Zen Internet’s mission is to provide the best ISP service in the UK and this award demonstrates our commitment to delivering excellent service, quality and reliability to our customers."
The award was presented to Zen Internet by Peter Vicary-Smith, Chief Executive of Which?. The ceremony was hosted by broadcaster Dermot Murnaghan and there was a keynote speech by Shadow Chancellor George Osborne MP.
