Independent regional forum
Date published: 12 June 2008
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) are developing a new independent regional forum to better support local employers.
Through 2008, GMFRS are seeking new members to join the Employer Forum. Large and small businesses are invited to participate and benefit from partnerships links with GMFRS and other high profile employers.
By engaging with the Employer Forum, your business can benefit in the following ways:
- Access to young people who have completed GMFRS training programmes and are seeking work placements and job opportunities
- Free publicity to improve your profile across the city
- A chance to develop your corporate responsibility track record
- Invites to free networking events and business breakfasts
- Option to second your staff to GMFRS for training and development
- Free information sessions on employers regulatory compliance (fire safety legislation and fire risk management)
If you are interested to find out more about how the GMFRS Employer Forum can support your business, please contact Mick Sheldon.
