Tenon expands marketing team

Date published: 03 January 2008

Nationwide accountancy firm Tenon, which has offices based in Rochdale, has increased its marketing team in a bid to reach a £250million turnover within five years. A new senior marketing manager will oversee marketing activity in the North-west, including the Rochdale office, and the firm have also employed a marketing manager specifically dedicated to the Rochdale and Bolton offices.

In total the PR team has been increased from 13 to 25 people to support its marketing policy in the North-west after the company acquired Unity, Bowmans and Jacksons Joliffe Cork in 2007.

Bev Cook leads the marketing team and commented: "I am excited about Tenon’s new marketing structure and look forward to working with the team this year to drive our business and marketing efforts across the country. This expanded team will help us deliver an even better proposition to the entrepreneurial market."

Vicky Tonge is marketing manager of the offices in Rochdale and Bolton.

Christina Collins has been appointed senior marketing manager and will oversee offices in Rochdale, Manchester, Bolton, Chorley, Preston and Kendal.

Andy Raynor, Tenon’s Chief Executive said: "As we continue to grow and diversify our revenue streams it is imperative that we build a marketing team to meet this challenge. This investment in marketing reflects our commitment to become a more marketing orientated business and to build deeper relationships with our extensive client base across the country."

Other appointments in the firm include Sionny Williams, marketing assistant for the North-west and Senita Vohra-Copley as an overall marketing assistant.

Tenon is a 39 office operation with over 1800 staff across the UK.
