Chamber bus takes business support to Rochdale
Date published: 06 June 2008
Budding entrepreneurs across Rochdale will be able to take advantage of a range of free advice, information and resources available on an Enterprise Bus, which will be visiting several locations across the borough during the week beginning 16 June.
The Bus is the idea of Business Support Solutions and Greater Manchester Chamber to take practical business advice out of the office. Manned by an expert team of business advisors, it will provide people with all the practical advice and help to turn dreams of starting a business into a reality. Advice is also on hand for those who have already taken the plunge into starting their own company, but are looking for some advice on how to further grow their business.
Working in partnership with Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, local entrepreneurs will also have the opportunity to access a new Business Start-up pack, which provides all the practical support you need when starting out. Teaming up with national partners such as The Royal Bank of Scotland, AXA, Blackberry, BT, Dell, Microsoft, Sage and Xerox, all the tools for a successful business are provided with local level support.
Visitors to the Enterprise Bus will also be able to take advantage of a free prize draw with fantastic prizes such as £100 worth of shopping vouchers, a relaxing spa experience, or tickets to a show. People can also find out about the wealth of business support and networking opportunities available through Greater Manchester Chamber.
The bus will be at the following destinations:
- Monday 16 June, Morrisons in Heywood
- Tuesday 17 June, Heywood Civic Centre
- Wednesday 18 June, Rochdale Town Hall
- Thursday 19 June, Rochdale Town Hall
- Friday 20 June, Rochdale Town Hall
If the pilot is successful the aim is to visit further destinations in the future.
