CR Laurence expands on Kingsway

Date published: 02 December 2013

CR Laurence has expanded its operations on Kingsway Business Park for the second time in three years, recently completing the deal on a new warehouse and offices on a two acre plot.

The new 33,000 square foot warehouse, which also has 5,000 square feet of duplex offices, was completed at the end of last month and will primarily provide additional storage for Caesarstone Quartz slabs which are used to make kitchen worktops. A new showroom displaying Caesarstone products will also shortly be completed.

Managing Director, Simon Boocock, said: “We are delighted to be able to expand our operation again here at Kingsway, it’s proven to be a great location for CRL and Caesarstone to expand our business and to provide excellent levels of service to our customer in the UK and across Europe. The two facilities now give us in excess of 100,000 sq/ft of prime location warehouse space.”

Rochdale Development Agency Chief Executive, John Hudson, said: “CR Laurence chose Kingsway because of its great location next to the M62 and we are delighted that they have now expanded their business here.”

Development Director Robert Grafton of Wilson Bowden Developments said: “We are delighted that CR Laurence decided to expand on Kingsway Business Park.”
