GJD announces the launch of GJD Asia

Date published: 26 November 2013

GJD Manufacturing Limited, the Heywood based industry leader in the design, manufacture and supply of professional external detector equipment as well as CCTV and lighting controllers utilised in the intruder surveillance industry, has announced the launch of its Asia subsidiary GJD Asia Limited. This will be the central office of GJD operations serving China, Asean and Australasian regions.

The move forms part of GJD’s overall strategic marketing plan to become a global supplier of high quality, state-of-the-art, value for money security systems and associated devices.

Commenting on the launch of the Asia hub, GJD’s Managing Director Mark Tibbenham explained: “This is an extremely exciting time for GJD. We have been growing our export sales dramatically over the past five years and see the establishment of a significant presence in S.E. Asia as the next logical step in our long term plans to bring the range of products and services to the attention of the largest possible audience”

When questioned on GJD’s strategy for success in Asia, Mr Tibbenham commented: “It is vital that manufacturers react to market needs, there is no point designing something that we think the market wants. Developments must reflect the requirements of end users, installers and specifiers. We look forward to the challenge of collaborating with our customers in the region.

“Our policy at GJD remains unchanged; we strive to provide a service which is constantly improving to meet or exceed the requirements of our customers. We will continue to listen to and build on, the existing relationships with all of our customers all over the world.”
