Are you a manufacturer and do you need some support? Have you come across the Manufacturing Advisory Service? MAS works for manufacturers providing a national service delivered locally by experienced advisors who will help your business grow. The MAS Advisors can work with you at a strategic level to create business and product strategies. They can help you develop a culture of innovation, generating new product ideas and market opportunities. They will work with you in reducing waste and maximising profitability in your own business and in your supply chains. To find out more contact the Business Growth Hub on 0161 359 3050 or info@businessgrowthhub.com

Would you be willing to help students understand the world of work and the jobs on offer? Inspiring the Future is a free service that matches employers with local schools and colleges. An hour of your time, talking about the job you do, and the route you took into it, can make a lifetime’s difference to a young person. You will be connected online and the volunteering can take place near home or work as you chose the location that suits you. Register at www.inspiringthefuture.org

Business breakfast – the next Business Breakfast takes place on Thursday 12 December at Zen Internet on Sandbrook Park, starting at 8am. The session will focus on broadband, connectivity and how businesses can make more of their current provision. We will again be joined by Jim Taylor, Chief Executive of Rochdale Council who will provide his usual update on activity across the borough. You do need to book for this, so please email c.hopkins@investinrochdale.co.uk
