Female plumbing apprentice builds career

Apprentice Ria McNeeney
Ria McNeeney has joined Scott Buckley Construction as their first apprentice.
Ria, who went to Falinge Park School, said: Since starting this apprenticeship my outlook on life has changed - I now believe I can make a difference and build a real career.”
Director of the Rochdale based roofing and building contractor, Scott Buckley said: “Young people need a chance to develop and experience work. I started my career as an Apprentice and feel it gives an excellent grounding for a real career. Rochdale Training has an experienced team who tailor the training in a way that adds value to my business”.
Mark Fairley added: “Apprentice Ria is doing really well; she is honest, reliable and has common sense. I started my career as plumbing apprentice and it has guaranteed me a good living and would recommend it to others.”
