A Presentation and Q&A Session with Sir Howard Bernstein
Date published: 02 April 2008
We will soon hear whether the Government has approved the Association of Greater Manchester Authorities’ bid to the Transport Innovation Fund. This could herald almost £3 billion of investment in Greater Manchester’s transport infrastructure and a peak time congestion charge.
It is essential that the bid reflects the needs of those within the haulage, distribution and logistics sectors! There are still many unanswered questions for those within this vital economic sector. The Greater Manchester Chamber has therefore organised a one off event to give businesses an opportunity to find out what the bid and congestion charge could mean for their operations, to hear the latest plans and proposals, with an opportunity to put questions to Sir Howard Bernstein and representatives of the Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Authority.
The event will take place at 8.30am on Wednesday 9 April at Quay West, Trafford Wharf Road, Trafford Park. If you would like to attend, please contact Richard Critchley:
