Closing date looming for nominations for Rochdale’s Diversity Awards 2013
The organisers have received a good response to the Rochdale’s Diversity Awards 2013 with nominations now coming through on a daily basis.
However, there is still time for local organisations and businesses to submit their nominations. KYPO are particularly keen to encourage the private sector to consider the awards categories and to showcase the excellent work that they do in ensuring that their workforce and/or products meet the needs of their diverse customer base.
The Greater Manchester Police and Crime Commissioners Office has also added its support to the Rochdale Diversity Awards by agreeing to co-sponsor the Cohesion Award. This is excellent news and shows that the importance and value the local partners are placing on the awards.
These awards aim to recognise contributions made by individuals and/or organisations in making progress within their organisations and/or communities towards race equality, inclusion and diversity within the workplace and/or service provision.
The nomination form and further details on the judging process can be accessed from KYP’s website www.kyp.org.uk/2013-awards
